today's character spotlight is Amiamitchi! in the virtual pets, she first debuted in the Tamagotchi P's, before debuting internationally in the Tamagotchi Friends. her first anime appearance was in the Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream anime. her home town is Dream Town, and her date of birth is January 10th. since this, she's appeared as an NPC numerous times. she was in the Tamagotchi Friends and Tamagotchi Smart as an NPC, as well as the M!X and Meets Stations.
she has a pink face and red eyes. she has large, light red hair resembling yarn, with a sewing needle sticking out of it, with the needle having a big pink bow on it. this is why she's called Amiamitchi, with the "Amiami" part of her name coming from "Amigurumi" which is the Japanese art of knitting/crocheting plushies. she wears a light red dress the same color as her hair with light pink stitching across the bottom. she wears light brown pants, and her arms and body are a light yellow.
she's a quiet, kind girl who loves sewing. she loves tailoring clothes, and her favorite thing to knit are cute plushies. she and her family have a Tama-Pet named Amipekotchi. at Dream School, she's in the sewing class. her classmates are Pipospetchi, Hanafuwatchi, Akaspetchi and Spacytchi. she is best friends with Hanafuwatchi. and in Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends, she becomes friends with Clulutchi.
during Tamagotchi Friends' run in the west, a figure on Amiamitchi was released, and came with figures of a stuffed rabbit, a stuffed bear and a sewing machine, in a line that also included Yumemitchi, Butterflytchi and Julietchi.
Amiamitchi also appeared in the GOGO Tamagotchi! manga.
